This is a charcoal drawing that is based on a picture in a playbill from the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. The featured ballet is called 'La Fille Mal Gardee'. I'm quite happy with the way it came out, although I think my hands are permanently stained black and whatever I touch gets a charcoal smudge on it. Not fun.
NOTE:
For those of you who are interested in buying art, this piece is for sale.
size: approximately 9'' x 12''
media: graphite and charcoal on poster board
price: $40
